OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting overall well-being and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional care.
• Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.

  Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No more than 50 per week

Experience:

• Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
• Assess client conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations.
• Utilize various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to address specific concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and progress made.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and any areas of discomfort.
• Uphold a clean and organized treatment environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
