Registered Nurse, Band 5- OMF OPD (27 hours a week)
This post is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team and support the speciality to ensure the provision of a high standard of patient care. This is a fixed term position for 2 years.
This is an opportunity for you to develop and expand your skills as a Registered Nurse within Oral surgery, Head and Neck Cancers and Maxillofacial surgery.
A visit to the department is highly recommended in order to discuss the job role.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse interested in developing the service to our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated , enthusiastic and compassionate nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help us deliver outstanding treatment and care to our patients.
You will be responsible for setting up and closing/cleaning down of you surgery and maintaining stock levels. Assisting clinician in clinics within our specialty. Once you feel confident and competent you will run a Nurse-led dressing clinic, providing holistic care to patient that have under gone surgery for Head and Neck Cancer. We are looking for someone who is a team player and will fit into our very busy friendly team.
The applicant needs Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of professional CPD.
