  • Emergency Department and/or acute care nursing.
  • If you have minimal or no experience in the field of Emergency Department but have transferable skills along with a connection to the Eastern Bay of Plenty, we are eager to provide training and foster the development of our team members.
  • A current NZ nursing registration, current practicing certificate or working towards through a Competency Assessment Programme.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A commitment to ongoing education to support excellence in emergency nursing.

If you possess a passion for delivering exceptional emergency nursing care and thrive in a nurturing work environment, then this opportunity is tailor-made for you!
In this role, you will work in a stimulating environment, refining your emergency nursing assessment and planning skills with the support of our experienced staff. Our cohesive nursing team, consisting of dedicated professionals such as nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, an emergency department educator, and clinical coaches, provides a collaborative setting. Additionally, you will have the chance to closely collaborate with both senior and junior medical staff, enhancing your overall professional experience.
We currently have openings for two fixed term part-time positions, with a commitment of 0.8 FTE (equivalent to 32 hours per week), for a vibrant Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. The role requires flexibility, as you will be scheduled to work across Monday to Sunday.
