HE KORERO MŌU - ABOUT YOU
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in acute care, although we offer a comprehensive orientation program for those who are new to this setting. Given the nature of our work, a calm demeanor, a good sense of humor, and a strong team-oriented mindset are essential qualities for success in this role.
Additional orientation days will be provided before transitioning to more acute care areas as needed. We also offer numerous in-house educational opportunities, including ALS, PALs, and NLS certifications.
The preferred candidates will have:
- Emergency Department and/or acute care nursing experience.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- A desire to make a difference to our community
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- A commitment to ongoing education to support excellence in emergency nursing.
