Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. Our brand new Emergency Department at Nepean Hospital is now open and looking for Registered Nurses to join our community. Responsibilities:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Recent experience working in an acute care setting as a registered nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work in a busy fast paced environment
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written with demonstrated negotiation skills
- Able to perform effectively as a team member in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to work 7 day rotating roster including morning evening & night shift
