ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses with experience in emergency care to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing urgent and comprehensive care to patients in need of immediate medical attention.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital, you will be at the forefront of delivering urgent and life-saving care to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include rapidly assessing and triaging patients to determine the severity of their conditions, administering emergency treatments, medications, and interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will be expected to maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations, providing compassionate support and clear communication to patients and their families. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and participating in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest practices in emergency nursing care.
