JOB REQUIREMENTS

As a Registered Nurse, you will have:

  • Relevant qualification – Registered General Nurse Qualification with active NMC pin number
  • At least 1 years of experience in the same or similar role
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership skills

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Registered Nurse, you will have compassion, an interest in caring for elderly people and an understanding of their needs. You will be responsible for resident and staff wellbeing when acting as the sole Registered Nurse on duty and expected to maintain a quiet and calm home atmosphere. Your aim is to enable residents to achieve and maintain maximum independence with the help of the care and support team.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assessing residents’ needs, writing and following Care Plans and documenting residents’ records.
  • Medications administration
  • Helping unqualified staff with in-service training and to keep abreast of current post-registration training.
  • Working with the most up to date state of the art care home IT technologies.
