GenesisCare Frenchs Forest is a dynamic cancer clinic that has transformed to become the leading integrated cancer centre across the Northern Beaches.
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join the passionate team at Frenchs Forest in providing holistic centred care for patients with oncological and haematological malignancies. Nurses work in a compassionate and supportive environment caring for patients receiving blood products, intravenous medication, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and central line management. The role is supported by the NUM, CNC’s, CNE and our friendly nursing team, with learning pathways to support your educational needs.
We currently have a part-time and casual opportunity available. Please specify your preference in your application.

More specifically, you will:

• Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patient’s physical and psychological needs are met.
• Effectively manage the patients that are seen each day.
• Facilitate effective lines of communication with all staff and provide feedback and up to date information regarding patients.
• Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated and actioned.
• Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
• Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
• Demonstrate reliability, motivation and flexibility.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
• Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
• Oncology / Haematology experience preferable, but willing to train successful candidate.
