ABOUT THE ROLES
GEO Healthcare provides primary healthcare to men in Public Prisons across Victoria.
Nurses employed by GEO Healthcare work to deliver high quality patient care to men in Victoria’s public prisons. Nurses deliver health services which enhance and promote the health of people in prison through evidenced base, comprehensive and professional nursing care within a prison setting.
Opportunities exist for Full Time and Part Time Registered Nursing staff.
Nursing Staff will be employed under the terms of an Enterprise Agreement. Terms and conditions provided by this Agreement include:
- Registered Nurse salary range $71.6k - $98.3k. (Based on Full Time)
- Annual increments to salary for Enrolled and Registered nurses
- Competitive Shift and Weekend Allowances.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability to work within a prison setting, which will involve direct contact with people in prison associated with the delivery of healthcare.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Working outside of ordinary business hours may be required.
