Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, Registered Nurses to join our highly skilled team on 2 North at St John of God Geelong Hospital.
There are 30 beds in Orthopedic and Urology surgical ward. They provides care for post operative patients and Orthopedic procedures include Joint replacements to Ligament repairs and
Urology Procedures include Kidney Stone Extraction to Major Robotic Surgery.

The Position

• Full time or Part time position available, hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate.
• Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
• Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
• Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
• Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
• Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.

You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. You will demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Previous experience within a hospital environment and Orthopaedic and Urology experience will be highly regarded.

The Benefits:

• Salary $68,093 to $96,175 (pro rata basis for Part time) + 11.5% superannuation
