Description:
Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr.
Summary:
As a Staff Nurse, you’ll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess patients’ physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families.
- Make referrals to resources as needed.
- Support fellow healthcare professionals.
- Operate within the framework of Providence Health Care’s mission, vision, and values.
What You Bring:
EDUCATION:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, or as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Residential Care and Mental Health.
- Completion of a post-graduate critical care course, or two years of recent experience in an equivalent setting.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated competence in performing CPR procedures.
- Experience in teamwork, decision-making and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated a teaching aptitude
- Proficient in clinical leadership.
- A strong desire to expand your professional skills and a commitment to lifelong learning in the nursing field.
