YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required (candidates with commensurate experience and education will be considered).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) required.
  • Current successful completion of CPR Level-C Healthcare Provider within the last 12 months required
  • Experience in Obstetrical Nursing preferred.
  • Recent nursing experience in medical-surgical acute care preferred.
  • Successful candidates are expected to cross train to all populations within six months of hire.
  • Experience with grief counseling and caring for families with perinatal loss preferred.
  • Current successful completion of NRP required within the first three months of hire.
  • Family Centered care experience with perinatal populations an asset.
  • Competency in other languages considered an asset.
