Responsibilities:

HE KŌRERO MŌ TE TŪRANGA - ABOUT THE ROLE

Hauora a Toi – Bay of Plenty are seeing a Registered Nurse for a Public Health position based at Tauranga hospital. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, providing exceptional job satisfaction and team support. This is a permanent part-time role working 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week).
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with school-age children, their families, and whānau in the community to address a wide range of health and social issues.
An understanding of the challenges facing children will be advantageous in this role. Additionally, you will support the school-based Immunisation Team, making knowledge of immunisation and possession of an Authorised Vaccinator Certificate advantageous. This position requires the ability to overcome challenges and handle unexpected situations effectively.
