Description:
The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Registered Nurses (Respiratory) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and non-clinical personnel to provide quality nursing care
- Be proactive in seeking learning opportunities to gain high level respiratory nursing skills
- Conduct management of Non-Invasive Ventilation with Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure to manage patients with various acute respiratory and sleep disorders and neuromuscular disorders
- Be proficient in Spirometry, high flow oxygen therapy, tracheostomy management and intrapleural chest drainage management, portacath and smoking cessation support
