QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 1 year behavioral health RN experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• Emergency room experience as an RN
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide RN triage and assessment for children and adults in the psychiatric emergency room. Ensure medication reconciliation. Follow all hospital and state/FED guidelines regarding documentation. Provide medication administration. Provide clinical team lead regarding behavioral management and safety. Coordinate admission and discharges amongst a multidisciplinary team.
