Description:

The Dental Nurse plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients and supporting the dental team in delivering excellent dental services. This role involves assisting with dental procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with Procedures: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
2. Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for their dental appointments. Provide patients with instructions on post-treatment care and hygiene. Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions.
3. Administrative Duties: Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Maintain and update patient records accurately. Handle billing, insurance claims, and other financial transactions as needed.
4. Infection Control: Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment. Dispose of hazardous materials properly and manage clinical waste.
5. Clinical Support: Monitor and manage dental supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in goodworking order. Maintain an organized and hygienic work area. Support with laboratory work and other clinical tasks as required.
6. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations and reassurance. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING OR DENTAL NURSING DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION.

License: Saudi Council License as Nurse Technician
Certification: Registration with the relevant dental nursing regulatory body (if applicable). Experience: Previous experience in a dental nursing role is preferred but not always required.
Skills: Strong knowledge of dental procedures and infection control practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency with dental software and basic office applications.
Personal Attributes: Empathetic and compassionate with a patient-centered approach. Detail-oriented and organized. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
