Description:

Your Role at St John of God Ballarat Hospital
We are seeking experienced registered nurses in any of these areas; Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics or PACU to join our supportive team in Perioperative Services.
You will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive patient care and provides supervision for graduate registered nurses, nursing affiliates and nurse students to ensure planned nursing interventions are appropriate and implemented.

The Position

  • Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
  • Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
  • Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information is maintained, as documented in the Privacy and Confidentiality agreement and policy.

  • Salary: $67,000 to $94,000, plus 11% superannuation

You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
