Description:
Are you interested in progressing towards a career as a Registered Nurse?
CLCH Academy has partnered with The University of Hertfordshire to deliver the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (Shortened APL route). The academic programme lasts for 20 months and will commence in January 2025.
During the program you will gain a wide range of clinical nursing skills in a variety of areas, while also undertaking a degree in nursing, leading to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse - Adult.
We are seeking candidates who have completed a Nursing Associate programme previously with the University of Hertfordshire, who are eligible for the academic Registered Nurse Degree Apprentice programme.
Applicants must have experience of between 3 to 6 months at Band 4 level within a Nursing Associate, Assistant Practitioner, or equivalent role, to access this programme.
Applicants will need a keen interest in working in our Adult Nursing services, and for the duration of their apprenticeship will be based with one of our integrated locality teams.
The Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship attracts a Band 4 salary. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will move into a Band 5 Registered Nurse role.
Future career progression opportunities include the District Nursing specialist practitioner pathway
Start date of the apprenticeship: Jan 2025
Interview dates: provisionally set for Early November 2024
Applicants may start working on a mutually agreed date prior to the commencement of the formal programme in Jan 2024, in order to complete local induction and gain some experience working in the community nursing team.
