POSITION

We are seeking a detail oriented, professional Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing in compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 months of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is an asset.
  • Valid ON Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of ON
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written with a high level of attention to detail
  • Need to have strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple duties, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • ATP packaging experience will be considered an asset
  • Ability to provide feedback and work well in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing final product checks
  • Completing product validation checks for automated packaging systems
  • Preparing, packaging and dispensing prescription medications after a pharmacist has decided on the appropriateness of therapy
  • Abiding by approved prescriptions, duties and responsibilities per relevant College of Pharmacists
  • Completing other duties in an effort to improve dispensing accuracy and speed, manage Pharmacy layouts, and improve the overall Pharmacy.
  • Prioritizing accuracy while maintaining a consistent pace.
