Description:
Murphy Therapeutic Group (MTG) in Peterborough, ON is a well established, private physiotherapy clinic that focuses on providing one on one care to each client. MTG is currently seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. MTG has mainly an orthopaedic population, as well as some neurological clients. The clinic offers one hour assessments and half hour treatments. MTG also encourages professional mentorship allowing any therapist to develop their hands on skills.
Our goal at MTG is:
- Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness
- Preventing disease, injury and disability
- Managing acute and chronic conditions, activity limitations and participation restrictions.
Services offered by our Physiotherapists include:
- Assessment and development of individualized treatment programs.
- Providing hands on therapy.
- Creating customized exercise programs and self-management programs specific to each clients’ needs.
- Providing guidance to the Physiotherapy Assistants who will be assisting in the treatment plan.
- Devising pain management programming and education on self-management for persistent pain conditions.
Hours of work are open for discussion and will be based on client and clinic demand.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Up to date Professional Liability Insurance
- Exhibits impeccable professional conduct
- Excellent organizational skills and patient rapport
- The ability to function autonomously
