WHO WE ARE:

Seven Summits Rehab and Health (www.sevensummitsrehab.ca) is a holistic clinic utilizing specialist therapists to address not only an individual’s physical rehabilitation needs, but also one’s overall health and wellbeing goals. The clientele of the clinic will be varied, but we do have a specialist interest in the rehab needs of athletes, golfers and climbers.
As a small business, we are looking for people who are go-getters and are looking to hit the ground running. In turn, we want our therapists to share their ideas, thoughts and to feel heard. We are not your cookie cutter, clinical physio office. We have the aim of creating a better rehab working model for both patients and therapists.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic part-time physiotherapists to join our venture providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment using best practices in the field.

• Start date to be end of February/beg of March - we are flexible for earlier/later and this can be discussed to accommodate the successful candidate.
• 2 or 3 days/week for 6.5 hours/day each shift. Which days of the week and whether it will be morning or evening shifts will be discussed and decided upon with the successful candidate, but we are flexible and accommodating in shift days/times.

Specialist interest in women’s health:
We are looking for a qualified physiotherapist who has undergone further training in women’s health and pelvic floor conditions. As a clinic that specializes in Pilates and Pilates reformer, we want you to be the referral for all women’s health conditions. As your caseload is building, you will see musculoskeletal patients, but the aim will be to lead this area of women’s health and only see patients for women’s health.
You will have Pilates training, preferred with the Pilates reformer, so you can continue the patient’s rehabilitation within our gym and Pilates area.
Musculoskeletal and sports injury focus:
We are looking for a qualifed physiotherapist to bring their skills to our team. We want a physio who has passion for their skills and wants to progress in their field. Further training in an area you find interesting will be preferred, and further qualifications in areas such as kinesiology/personal training is a bonus.
If you are relatively new in the field of physio, we will help you grow and help you find the areas you wish to further specialize in. If you have more experience and feel somewhat stuck or are seeing the same issues day to day, then we will work with you to reignite that passion and find that next step forward.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Be in good standing with and possess a valid certified physiotherapy license attained through the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Have the appropriate professional liability insurance.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Professionals with at least 1 year experience post-graduation.
• Part-time hours initially with the aim of building to full-time.
• Evidence of career progression through courses, certificates preferred.
• Keen to progress as a practitioner within the team by attending training sessions and the enthusiasm to gain further skills through external courses. This is not a room rental clinic!
