About Us: TherapyWorks is a growing multidisciplinary practice with a vibrant team of Nurse Practitioner, Social Workers, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Youth Development Facilitators, Specialized Educational Support, and Life Skills Coaches. Together, we support clients across the lifespan—especially those who are neurodiverse or have complex learning, mental health, and developmental needs. Our practice prioritizes a flexible, “meet the client where they’re at” approach, fostering creativity and neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care.

Position Overview: We’re seeking a Registered Psychologist to enrich our services and help us meet growing demands for psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions. While assessment and diagnosis are the priorities for this role, Psychologists interested in additional services, such as Mental Health Counselling, Couple’s Therapy, or Group Therapy, are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time independent contractor position with a minimum requirement of 10 billable hours per week, with flexibility for increased hours if desired.

• Competitive Compensation: Remuneration is based on a percentage of earnings. For Psychologists seeking a staff position, the hourly rate is $65-70/hour.

• Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Deliver client care through therapy sessions and collaboration with members of the care team and client caregivers, focusing on both children and adults.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with healthcare teams.
• Maintain currency of practice through continuing practice development
• Contribute to continuous improvements in the organization
• Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Contribute to maintaining safe and effective practices within the organization
• Deliver a committed affirming approach to individuals with gender or sexual divergence, neurodivergence, and cultural differences
