Responsibilities:
A Respiratory Therapist is a healthcare professional specialized in providing care for patients who have trouble breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. They collaborate with patients of all ages, from premature infants with underdeveloped lungs to elderly patients with lung disease.
They evaluate patients’ respiratory conditions through physical examination and review of medical history. Perform diagnostic tests such as spirometry, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary function tests. As well as administer medications and respiratory therapies, including nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications. Respiratory Therapist work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. We would love to have you join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
4. 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
5. ACLS certificate within 60 day of hire and maintain current.
6. NRP certificate preferred
7. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
8. Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
9. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
