Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Salary: Up to £34,000 FTE (D.O.E.)
Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8.30am-7.30pm, 1 in 2 Saturday mornings on a rota. Saturday hours to increase to a full day and 1 in 3 once there are 3 RVNs on the rota.

Located in the heart of Kidderminster within walking distance of the town, this purpose designed 4000 sq ft site comprises of separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, isolation facilities, 6 consulting rooms, bereavement room, two theatres, dental suite, imaging room and associate rest room. The practice will be well equipped with the usual in-house diagnostic and surgical kit.
You will be warmly welcomed into our team and will be joining other key start-up associates to build and drive the practice performance while providing support to each other. Along with an enthusiastic and fun team with high clinical standards, our aim is to provide the best possible medical and surgical veterinary care for our patients in a pleasant, friendly environment - Making a Better World for Pets.

Responsibilities:

We are excited to share with you a unique and exciting opportunity to become part of a brand-new vet practice, for our purpose designed, high quality practice, which is anticipated to open in November 2024. We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic thinking RVN to develop and grow our brand-new practice. You will take pride in your role, nurse to a high standard and be willing to share your nursing experience and knowledge with SVN’s and PCA’s.
The general responsibilities will be performing a variety of nursing consults, monitoring anaesthetic procedures, preparing for procedures, placing IV catheters, performing venepuncture, performing schedule 3 procedures, nursing patients post operatively as well as inpatients - plus general nursing and clinical practice tasks. You will also be involved with pharmacy stock control, Health and Safety and training/supervising other associates.
