Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment? Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC/EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service.
Qualifications: New graduates are welcome!
- Graduation from an OAVT-accredited college program.
- Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE.
- OAVT membership in good standing.
- Collaborative clinical approach and excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability
Responsibilities:
- Triage and Assess: Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity.
- Advanced Medical Procedures: Execute advanced procedures like thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more, with the support of our experienced team.
- Nursing Care: Provide top-notch nursing care to in-house and out-patients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy.
- Surgical Support: Assist in full-scope surgery services from prep to post-op recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care.
