JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. You will be responsible for performing various clinical and laboratory tasks, ensuring the well-being of our patients while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree or certification in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.
  • Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

    Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient care.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
  • Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
