Description:

Role title
Registrar in Neurology (Inclusion Health) - July 2025
Commencement date
Monday 14th July 2025
Purpose of the role
The role has been funded to support the development of modernised care pathways for epilepsy with the goal of improving access time to service, improving quality of service and delivering care in the best place for the patient.
The epilepsy pathway will focus on an integrated approach to the management of epilepsy in the community and via tele-medicine. The first objective of the pathway is to improve remote care and outreach provided to vulnerable populations such as inclusion health patients and patients with intellectual disability.
The successful candidate will work as part of the multidisciplinary epilepsy team which already has strong links to the inclusion health services in the hospital and the community. The focus of the role is to help develop the pathways and to deliver epilepsy and neurology care to vulnerable populations as well as the overall epilepsy 2 cohort.
The role is a great opportunity for any doctor with an interest in neurology and inclusion health. It will give the opportunity to develop skills in quality improvement and focus on patient centred care.
The post would suit candidates with an interest in and prior training in epilepsy and neurology, but this latter experience is not a requirement or candidates who have and interest and experience in inclusion health and would like to expand their knowledge of neurology and epilepsy
