Description:
The Registrar, NM Academy reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards
The Registrar’s function includes administrative tasks related to maintaining student records, coordinating enrollment and registration process, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines. The Registrar is responsible for ensuring that each current and former student’s record accurately reflects the student’s admission and enrollment.
Responsibilities:
- Manages student records including academic transcripts, enrollment agreements, and other records related to student admission and enrollment.
- Coordinates and supervises application processes.
- Oversees onboarding processes including monitoring student background checks and occupational health clearance.
- Works closely with Program Managers and Program Directors to collect and disseminate enrollment, graduation, and job placement statistics for internal and external reporting.
- Ensures graduation requirements have been met prior to graduation and prepares certificates.
- Works under the supervision of the Program Director to maintain and update the NM Clinical Schools & Programs website.
- Manages student accounts including tuition, fees, and refunds.
- Develops policies and practices for registration management.
- Oversees conformity of educational record use, dissemination, and privacy of student information to legal requirements including FERPA and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains contracts between the programs and collaborating organizations including clinical and academic affiliates.
- Coordinates and oversees events including graduation ceremonies.
- Assists in coordination of marketing events.
- Provides strategic input and develops recommendations for the implementation of technology applications in support of enhanced processes for students, faculty, and staff.
- Promotes and maintains effective relationships with faculty, staff, and collaborating organizations.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of policy manuals and documents.
- Manages requests for use of classroom and laboratory facilities.
- Serves as the primary contact for purchasing and payment requests.
- Assists in annual budgeting processes.
- Attends faculty, advisory committee, and ad hoc meetings and documents meeting minutes for distribution.
- Provides support for programmatic and institutional accreditation processes.
- Fulfills other duties as assigned and appropriate for the role within the institution.
- Serves as the primary contact for email and phone inquiries.
