Registrar/Principal House Officer - Rehabilitation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• A relevant Degree Qualification from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Successful completion of at least two years post-registration training.
• All applicants must be awared SoCP by the Townsville Hospital and Health Service Credentialing and SoCP Committee. All appointments are subject to maintenance of the SoCOP with the CSCS for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
• If appointee is not accepted into a recognised vocational college training program - employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at the L4-L7 (PHO) level per fortnight. Upon entry into the Basic Physician Training Program via Qld Pathways, remuneration will be adjusted accordingly.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
