Regular Python and C Developer (on Linux)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1984, Our Client is the world’s leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips.
The client has its R&D and manufacturing operations in Connecticut. Luxoft is currently searching to augment the Development & Engineering Department with a talented software engineer to design and implement embedded software for systems among the highest precision ever produced in the world.

SKILLS

Must have
We are looking for a new colleague, with at least 3-4 years of overall working experience. At least 3 years should be on project stack:
Proven experience with Linux (proficiency in CLI)
Proven experience with Python
Proven experience with C/C++ programming languages
Basic knowledge of networking
Nice to have
Linux scripting (shell, bash)
RTOS, VxWorks knowledge
Agile Methodologies
Team oriented and Proactive

Gather input/requirements, contacting relevant stakeholders
Participation in the design and development of the different software tools
Development and maintenance of software tools (written in Python and C)
Development of unit-tests, participation in the code review process
Documentation of designed software
Test cases creation and execution for validating the developed tools
Close interaction with all team members and customer representatives
