Job Summary
Opportunity to join a Global Markets team in a highly specialized Regulatory role. This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution of complex projects relating to regulatory and business initiatives within a fast-paced sales and trading environment. This role is suited to a seasoned regulatory risk professional. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years in a regulatory and risk management environment in a global markets/trading environment coupled with in-depth knowledge of Risk regulations and experience in managing senior, multiple, and complex stakeholders is critical to role success.
Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis and interpretation of current and proposed domestic and international regulations.
  • Leading the Global Markets efforts on proposed regulatory regulations by developing technical positions, coordinating impact analysis, and representing Markets internally and externally with peers, industry associations and regulatory policymakers
  • Providing guidance to other teams and influencing senior leaders to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of initiatives ensuring compliance to new regulations.
  • Identifying strategic role players and stakeholders and engaging all stakeholders, role players and industry forums to understand changes to strategy because of regulatory changes.
  • Act as key advisor to the Head of the Function providing knowledgeable review and recommendations, ensuring that context, analysis, and the views of the respective areas are collated, filtered, and summarized in a concise manner.
  • Play a leading role in the successful delivery of change projects within the Regulatory environment by working with the business, technology, regulatory, compliance and monitoring teams to plan delivery of each delivery as well to document requirements and plan for each delivery
  • Implement and Manage Regulatory Controls: Facilitate creation of frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, and processes required to meet the regulatory requirements across the full business unit
  • Strong project management skills are beneficial.

Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
