We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee and support our local regulatory personnel, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements in accordance with local laws and corporate guidelines.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 5-7 years relevant regulatory experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Fluent English, local language essential
- Thorough understanding of key product category activities, regulatory trends, and general market dynamics
- Full knowledge of regulatory systems and databases
- Thorough knowledge of formulae creation procedures
- Extensive knowledge of industry and customer regulatory requirements, trends and pending regulatory legislation
- Knowledgeable of global regulatory issues
- Strong Leadership/People Management capabilities

Responsibilities:
Regulatory Policy
- Manage and direct local Regulatory Staff to provide external and internal customers and regional regulatory bodies with consistent and compliant product safety and legislative expertise
- Identify early regulatory and legislative issues that impact the business
- Advise the business on risks due to safety or regulatory developments
- Interpret and ensure compliance with laws and regulations resulting in reduced liability
- Coordinate product stewardship
Processes & Systems
- Develop and execute systems infrastructure to support key regulatory compliance and safety initiatives through coordination with global RAPS and Model Office initiatives
- Ensure integrity of regulatory database as well as protection of regional intellectual property
External Relations
- Represent Givaudan at trade associations providing the company position on issues
People Management
- Pro-actively trains junior team members and new hires
