SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Position Descriptio

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Services – Customer and Community is a dedicated area of Hamilton City Council charged with safeguarding environmental health, contaminated land and building matters.

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader to continue the journey towards service excellence and best practice. With a dedicated team of subject matter experts engaged across the wider business unit, your focus will be to;

  • Create a culture of connectivity and collaboration across functional areas of the organisation.
  • Develop opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, streamlining processes for a more efficient customer experience.
  • Foster and maintain critical relationships across a wide range of stakeholder groups, including local government agencies, statutory bodies and community.
  • Lead and support projects on behalf of the Unit Director, including responding to public enquiries.
  • Maintain oversight and responsibility for all monitoring, audit and compliance requirements, meeting statutory and organisational KPIs.
