Join the Close Brothers Regulatory Team where you will understand and implement required Basel 3.1 and changes to regulatory policy, assumptions and interpretations and documentation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regulatory Reporting team, particularly the Change and Control team, to understand the impact of Basel 3.1 to current reporting processes and highlighting areas for change and/or improvement in control and efficiency, and implementing changes as required.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Alteryx experience

Horizon Scanning & Regulatory Policy

• Complete horizon scanning for forthcoming regulatory changes that will impact the group and regulatory reporting, most notably Basel 3.1
• Work with the Regulatory Reporting team to understand and document the impact of forthcoming rules
• Analyse large pieces of regulatory rule frameworks and identify what needs to be done and how it applies to the group
• Identify regulatory issues proactively and recommend remedies to promote compliance
• Liaise with key internal (e.g. Legal, Risk, etc.) and external (e.g. regulators, auditors, consultants) stakeholders as required
• Help to compile and maintain internal interpretation policies and documents
• A prudential regulation professional
