WHAT OPPORTUNITY AWAITS?
Libro is growing, and we are looking for a passionately accountable full-time Relationship Manager (Commercial/Agricultural Account Manager) Business Banking to support a portfolio from the Haldimand Norfolk region.
This opportunity focuses on cultivating, expanding, and maintaining strong and trusted financial relationships with new and existing commercial and agricultural customers. The successful candidate will be partnered with a Credit Analyst to proactively offer solutions and enhance customer value. By identifying and referring opportunities to all segments, this role is key in enhancing overall prosperity for our customers.
This mobile position offers opportunity for flexible work from home arrangements and work schedules.
What you will do? Could this be you?
- Provide advice and dedicated credit expertise to a portfolio of agriculture and commercial accounts.
- Focusing on the needs of the customer, develop strong relationships that are based on understanding the business, and providing specialized solutions to support their business goals and objectives (including credit and cash management).
- Support customers with approximate borrowing needs between $250,000 - $10MM.
- Utilize effective sales management practices to identify new and prospective customers to Libro, build and maintain strong relationships with customer prospects, and centres of influence.
- Uncover opportunities for referrals to other staff in Community (Personal) Banking and Wealth.
- Develop and execute an individual business plan that provides specific goals and targets aligned with brand, regional, and corporate plans.
- Be responsible to maintain accurate account information.
- Adhere to applicable lending processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize approved tools to ensure strong credit underwriting with concise recommendations which identify and mitigate material risks.
What could you bring? The Epic Human we are looking for;
- A minimum of 2- 3 years of commercial or agricultural banking experience with a financial institution.
- Hold a university degree with related courses in the area of business finance and/or agriculture, with related work experience.
- Understand business concepts including detailed analysis of financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive in a sales environment with the ability to work independently, prioritize duties and handle problem resolution.
