YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Needs to have an interest in technologies, and the ability to understand what’s being done and why. This interest will be useful at time when the RM works with Live Services, as he/she will need to guide them.
Should have a software CI/delivery background, with understanding of how code should be delivered from Development, through testing and then Production.

Responsibilities:
- The release manager is accountable for the guidance, control and quality of the release management process. The overall purpose being to protect the integrity of the LIVE operational service. (N.B. – the release manager does not own the implementation of change).
- As the figurehead for release management establish and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers and contacts.
- Promote release management both internally and with the client, ensuring a positive image and desire to engage and work together.
- Proactively manage scheduling risks and issues with both the operational and project teams in conjunction with the account transition manager.
- Work with change requestors and The Agency to schedule the implementation of approved changes according to relative priority and business impact
