As a Release Train Engineer you will play a critical role in facilitating and coordinating Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring the seamless delivery of value through Agile teams. You will be tasked with guiding collaboration, alignment, and continuous improvement within the program. You will be an essential player in planning, facilitating and executing Program Increment (PI) planning, managing risks and dependencies, tracking key performance metrics and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Agile methodologies, be highly organised, and possess exemplary communication and facilitation skills.
Please note this is a hybrid role and the successful candidate is expected to work from our customer’s Dublin office at least once a week.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Skilled in working in Agile environments, with experience as a Release Train Engineer
  • Solid knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and its implementation within large organisations
  • Demonstrated experience in PI Planning, System Demos and other ART ceremonies
  • Experience in managing program-level risks, impediments and dependencies in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficient in using Agile project management tools
  • Remarkable communication, facilitation and management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate ART Events: Plan and execute Program Increment (PI) planning, System Demos, Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops, and other ART ceremonies
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Ensure alignment and collaboration among Agile teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
  • Manage Risks and Dependencies: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact the ART’s delivery
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and performance of the ART
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into the ART’s progress and performance
  • Support Agile Practices: Promote and support Agile practices and principles within the ART and the organization
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and transparency
