JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio) and 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance on critical systems or
- Higher education in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio) and 3 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance on critical systems or
- Associate’s Degree from a technical college and 7 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance on critical systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification from the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Efficient and effective ability to gather and analyze data to drive decisions and find value.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects at one time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a Process/Equipment reliability program and OEE metrics.
- Gather and examine reliability data from field studies or databases/systems and correlate the data for analysis.
- Initiate engineering studies into equipment/process failures for both process and utility systems and present analysis details to management.
- Assist others in FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and root cause failure analysis to avoid future failures.
- Collaborate with Engineering on making recommendations for improving the PM frequency of equipment based on equipment run time and OEM recommendations.
- Support cataloging and criticality classification of plant assets.
- Conduct health assessments on critical assets to determine risks and lifecycle status of the equipment.
- Derive spare parts strategies for systems based on assessments, taking into account impact, availability, and cost.
- Provide training to operators, technicians, and maintenance staff on techniques for managing equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
- Drive initiatives to standardize systems and parts for common systems.
- Support the development of key performance indicators and tracking mechanisms for core processes.
