SUMMARY:
Under the direction of Engineering Manager, assist the Manufacturing and Utilities groups to achieve site and departmental objectives by leading the predictive maintenance and equipment reliability program and managing related projects.
EDUCATION:
To competently perform this job, a candidate will need the knowledge and skills generally obtained with a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PSM-regulated facility. Experience in managing an equipment reliability program required. GMP experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead program for ensuring site equipment reliability including monitoring trends for predictive maintenance
- Perform risk assessments to ensure appropriate prioritization of maintenance resources
- Ensure site goals for Facility Fit and Finish are achieved by completing inspections and follow-up actions as needed.
- Provide project-engineering services for a variety of engineering related projects.. This position can lead a small group of technically diverse individuals to:Develop project scope, project estimate, project schedule and initiate a request for capitalSpecify equipment and installation requirements.Manage construction efforts to implement project per budget and schedule.Manage commissioning and finalize documentation in accordance with acceptable engineering practices for projects.
- Ensure program compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the global Thermo Fisher community to ensure best engineering practices are implemented
