Description:

We are currently advertising for a number of relief positions within our Independent Living accommodation which is located across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. The posts are being offered on a relief basis, which means work will be offered as and when required to cover planned and unplanned absences. All hours are worked Monday - Friday generally either mornings only or between 9am - 5pm depending on the rota in place.

We require specific support in the following areas:

  • Aberdeen City - Garthdee, West End, Rosemount and Torry
  • Aberdeenshire South - Stonehaven / Fettercairn
  • Aberdeenshire North - Insch / New Deer
  • Moray - Tomintoul / Cullen / Aberlour

We also have sites where work is available across Aberdeen city and to the south and west of the Aberdeen City. We will ask you to specify the areas where you are able to work on our application form.
The successful candidate(s) will be expected to provide a comprehensive enhanced housing management service to Castlehills Independent Living Service.

This will include;

  • Assist tenants to sustain their tenancy by providing a property check call in accordance with tenants wishes and signposting to relevant agencies.
  • Assist with tenancy related issues, including the safety and security of the building and neighbour relationships to ensure we keep a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Pass on required information to and maintain necessary liaison with other Castlehill departments regarding tenant or scheme issues, including cleaning, gardening, repairs or tenancy concerns
  • Maintain tenant welcome packs and liaise with Housing Officer and Tenant Participation Officer to support tenant social activities.
  • Daily scheme building checks to complete any relevant Health and & Safety checks
  • Following the Associations policies, procedures and updating the Housing Management IT system and using Microsoft IT packages word, excel, outlook and Teams regularly.

ABOUT YOU:

You will be educated to National 4 level or equivalent, with good literacy and numeracy skills. You will have experience of working in customer facing role, preferably in the housing or social care sector. You will have good communication skills, with the ability to work independently without close supervision and have good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
