KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Prior security experience is essential, especially given the varied responsibilities a relief role may entail.
• Licensing: A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License is mandatory.
• Clearance: While Security Clearance (SC) is desirable, it is not required for the role.
• Driving: A full UK driving license is preferable for flexibility, as you may be required to work across different sites or assist with off-site duties.

As a Relief Security Officer, your primary responsibility is to protect Hitachi’s property, personnel, and assets, adapting quickly to varied assignments and covering shifts as needed. Key responsibilities include:

• Operations: Comply with all security policies, legal requirements, and Assignment Instructions (AI’s), ensuring seamless handovers between shifts.
• Task Fulfillment: Efficiently complete all assigned tasks, adapting to different sites and tasks based on assignment requirements.
• Flexibility and Proactivity: Review AI’s for each new shift and suggest improvements that could enhance service across different assignments.
• Compliance and Legislation: Maintain required licenses and adhere to relevant industry standards and safety guidelines.
