Position: Relief Security Officer
Hours: 36 hours per week (mix of days, nights, and weekends)
Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent public transport links (Middlesbrough,)
Requirements: Valid SIA licence and 2 years of security experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexibility to work across shifts (days, nights, weekends) and willingness to cover a radius of 10-45 miles.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to making a positive impact.
• Eager to learn all aspects of the relief security officer role, with a “can-do” approach to tasks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Valid SIA Licence (2 years Security Experience)
• Right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history
• Punctual and able to reliably commute to the site
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the security industry
• Strong customer service skills and commitment to practicing our values of Integrity, Helpfulness, and Vigilance

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate the Weighbridge.
• Manage access control and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional approach in all interactions with visitors, contractors, and clients.
• Work effectively both independently and within a team, showing initiative as needed.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and contractors professionally and courteously.
• Conduct daily site patrols with a focus on health and safety, security, and fault identification.
• Monitor and analyse CCTV footage, ensuring compliance with security and government regulations.
• Maintain the Front of House area to uphold a professional and tidy appearance.
• Assist in emergency situations, such as fire evacuations, and conduct staff searches as required.
• Remain vigilant to potential threats or disruptions, taking proactive measures to minimize risks.
• Accurately log all visitors, staff, contractors, activities, couriers, and incidents to ensure comprehensive records.
• Provide a thorough handover to incoming Security personnel at each shift change.
