Job Description
Position Purpose
The Relocation Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of data related to relocation services. This role involves preparing reports, analysing data trends specific to relocation operations, and providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders while maintaining strict confidentiality of all data and information handled.
Responsibilities / Duties
Data Collection & Maintenance: Collect and load data from various systems related to relocation services, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain data structures and interfaces for seamless integration with existing systems.
Data Processing & Analysis: Process relocation data both automatically and manually, checking for correctness and completeness. Aggregate data into tables and graphs to facilitate analysis and reporting on relocation trends.
Data Visualization: Create visually compelling dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. Utilize graphical representations to highlight key data trends and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute reports according to the reporting schedule. Present data clearly and concisely, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to support decision-making processes in relocation management.
Trend Analysis: Proactively analyse relocation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Highlight key findings and make recommendations based on analysis to enhance service delivery.
Confidentiality: Ensure all data related to relocation services is kept confidential and secure, following company policies. Exercise discretion when handling sensitive information, sharing data only with authorized personnel.
Collaboration: Work alongside different teams, including relocation specialists and operational teams, to understand business requirements for data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data for comprehensive analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with new data visualization tools and technologies to improve data presentation and efficiency in relocation services. Suggest and implement improvements to current data analysis and visualization processes
Project Contributions: Contribute to relocation projects, including sales data analytics, finance-related initiatives, and pricing-related projects.
Team Contribution: Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to all assignments and ensuring smooth communication and coordination with other employees and departments involved in relocation services.
Quality: Perform quality work within deadlines, independently or under supervision. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses related to relocation activities.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the Relocation department.
Skills
Education: University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience handling large data sets and databases, preferably in a relocation or logistics environment.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is an advantage.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data validity and accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Learning & Development: Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in relocation data analysis and related financial operations.
Confidentiality & Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality best practices
