We are looking for a skilled REMOTE Jr. Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at AIS. You will leverage front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular and back-end technologies such as Java and Python to develop custom applications for our federal government clients.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with a team of talented professionals to tackle challenging mission problems using cutting-edge technologies.
• Design and build elegant, scalable, and cost-effective solutions with a focus on innovation and agility.
• Utilize your expertise in text and document processing to address complex issues.
• Stay informed about industry standards and trends, promoting the adoption of new technologies.
• Work closely with project managers and other development team members to deliver exceptional solutions that meet client expectations within deadlines and budgets.

Location and Travel Details:

• This role is fully remote.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance upon hire.

Required for This Opportunity:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Proven experience in building applications with open-source development libraries.
• Experience in JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly with frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with Java or Python.

Nice To Have Skills:

• DoD IAT Level 2 certification preferred (i.e. Security+, SSCP, CySA+, etc.)
• Familiarity with open-source text processing tools.
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.
