JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Business Operations Manager will deliver maximum customer value by driving operational and process excellence for the Fleet Support team while also maintaining our contract processes. In this role you will demonstrate strategic level thinking and a high execution skillset to continue to drive improvements in Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics, such as shaping strategies such as our comprehensive diagnostics offering, lessor data sharing strategy, and Third Party Agreements simplification. In this role you will help manage the FLIGHT DECK operating rhythms throughout Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics teams as well as overall for Fleet Support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own Fleet Support contract processes, execution, flow down, and fulfillment, including leadership in on-site customer audits.
  • Own business processes and execution for Entry Into Service (EIS) of Tier 2 customers.
  • Develop/evolve business strategy and use FLIGHT DECK principles in process improvement, consistency, and best practices regarding area of responsibility.
  • Lead coordination with internal Sales/Marketing and JV partners on diagnostics contract strategy, service value sell, and customer engagement.
  • Define, develop, and manage key performance metrics to drive operational excellence, across the Fleet Support organization.
  • Manage 3rd party supplier(s) used in support of process execution.
  • Communicate process initiatives and team performance to senior leadership.
  • Utilize VOC from external customers and internal customer teams to evolve customer engagement and support strategies to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Manage ARINC contract for transmission of ACARS data.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of engineering operations experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of engineering operations experience).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated experience in FLIGHT DECK / LEAN / Six Sigma principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic role requiring the use of influencing skills to meet objectives across a matrix organization.
  • Experience in commercial or product support roles within the Aviation industry.
  • Experience in working directly with customers and their leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to use statistical analysis and business intelligence visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
