Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
BBE seeks a full-time REMOTE Sales Account Manager—Pharma & Healthcare to join our dynamic sales team. You will play an integral role as BBE’s face and a valued front-line sales management team member. This role ensures that BBE’s strategic sales growth targets and market position are achieved in pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution.

You will represent the BBE brand, business, and people. BBE’s diverse commercial and customer-driven solutions result in healthy business growth. You enjoy collaborating with customers to support their needs and establish lasting relationships. You work harmoniously on the Business Development team to ensure messages align with marketing for a unified BBE.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Commerce, MBA or equivalent post-secondary degree preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare logistics or pharmaceuticals sector.
- 3-5 years of previous customer service, sales and distribution experience.
- Commercial agreement management, negotiations, market development, and sales experience in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
- Understanding temperature-controlled logistics experience (ambient, cold and cool chain).
- Familiarity with northern/remote Canada.
- Structured sales training.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct sales activities according to BBE’s sales plan, which includes Keeping, Acquiring, Recapture, and Expanding account management.
- Manage a mixed sales funnel of short-term, mid-term, and long-term prospects that align with BBE’s ideal client:
- High volume or high-value requirements.
- Complex needs.
- Expandable to multiple lines of business.
- Gain access to customers through client referrals or by association.
- Recording and tracking activities in BBE’s CRM.
- Provide Operations with clear and concise information related to client needs when quotes are required.
- Develop and expand opportunities by discovering client challenges due to current provider or market (industry, regulatory, geographic) gaps that BBE can address.
- Support team development of opportunities, professional growth, mentoring, and coaching.
- Contribute to and participate in customer negotiations, including contract development, contract renewal, and rate or service fee development and implementation.
- Lead account management and commercial terms with assigned clients and support other team members with account management as required.
- Quarterly or periodic business reviews.
- New projects kick off.
- Contract renewal implementations.
- Market BBE’s new features or lines of business as and when they launch.
- Contribute to BBE’s sales planning and marketing plans.
- Development of strategies and tactics in pursuit of new market spaces.
- Measurement of inputs and outcomes.
- Improvement of strategy and activity to continuously improve success rates.
- Nurturing and strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in individual performance management and personal growth opportunities regularly.
- Ensure knowledge remains relevant to requirements, developments, regulatory changes, and other matters influencing logistics in the pharma/healthcare industry.
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE DUTIES
- Actively participate in QHSETR programs and systems.
- Contribute to BBE’s continuous improvement and organizational efficiency goals.
