THE ROLE

Are you a passionate Sales Consultant eager to make an impact in the growing renewable energy sector? This could be the perfect role for you!
As a Commercial Design Consultant at The Little Green Energy Company, you will be at the forefront of our sales initiatives, driving commercial growth by identifying new opportunities and engaging potential clients. You’ll manage the end-to-end sales process, including conducting site surveys, preparing system designs, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Your role will also involve managing the sales pipeline, providing quotations, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
By leveraging your commercial sales expertise, technical knowledge, and proactive approach, you will play a key role in expanding our market reach and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, sustainable energy solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commercial Sales Development: Drive commercial sales growth by identifying new opportunities, engaging potential clients, and developing strategic approaches to expand market reach in the renewable energy sector.
  • Deal Closing & Contract Negotiation: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including negotiating terms and closing commercial sales to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets, ensuring successful contract execution.
  • Site Surveys & Preliminary System Design: Conduct thorough site surveys and develop preliminary designs for commercial PV and battery storage systems, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with client needs.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Proactively manage the sales pipeline to maintain a consistent flow of prospects, track progress, and ensure timely follow-ups to achieve sales objectives.
  • Customer Engagement & Quotation Management: Manage customer interactions using our bespoke CRM, provide accurate quotations, and draft contracts, ensuring a professional and seamless client experience.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly sales targets through effective sales strategies, client engagement, and focused commercial development efforts.
  • Collaboration with Design Team: Work closely with the in-house design team to refine and develop commercial PV and battery storage projects, ensuring technical accuracy and optimal system performance.
  • Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PV, battery storage, and other renewable technologies to deliver informed, innovative, and high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional pre- and post-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies and provide cutting-edge solutions.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Regularly report on sales activities, track performance against targets, and use feedback to continuously improve sales tactics and project outcomes.
