Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to the continued success of the business overall and the especially the renewable energy services division, we are now seeking a Renewable Energy Consultant to join our team. Solar PV, EV Charging, Energy Monitoring, and Home Retrofits will constitute most of the objectives in this role.
This commercial focused position fits in perfectly with the broader energy services team and the candidate will be responsible for generating new business. The successful candidate will work closely with our installation network and our sales team to find the best solution for our customers.
This role will initially be based in our Dublin city centre offices but will relocate to our new Head office at Dublin Airport Central in the New Year. It will operate under a hybrid model.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively manage and nurture incoming sales inquiries to ensure timely follow-ups and convert them into opportunities. Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, ensuring no potential sale is overlooked while prioritizing the highest potential customers.
  • Coordinate meetings and on-site evaluations with potential clients
  • Actively listen and communicate with customers to fully understand their specific technical needs, project goals, and any constraints they may have. Use this understanding to recommend a custom design or product that best suits their requirements.
  • Work closely with the internal teams to translate customer requirements into a technically sound and cost-effective solution. Ensure that all technical specifications are in line with customer expectations and company capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service. Regularly check in with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and address any concerns or needs they may have.
  • After closing the sale, collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure a seamless transition of project details. Ensure all information related to the customer’s requirements, site survey findings, and technical design is clearly communicated to the operations team for implementation.
  • Regularly communicate with customers to keep them informed about new product features, technical improvements, relevant government subsidies, or changes in grid connection requirements that may impact their projects. This ensures clients are always aware of the best solutions available.
  • Use networking, market research, and outbound prospecting strategies to identify and engage potential new clients. Develop targeted initiatives that focus on expanding the business within the industry and increasing market share.
  • Stay informed about the latest innovations and updates to the company’s product offerings, industry advancements, and technological developments. Ensure this knowledge is consistently applied when engaging with customers and prospects.
