We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Rents Analyst & Compliance Officer who is passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance and driving data-driven improvements. In this role, you will be the key player in maintaining the accuracy of our rent charges and providing essential insights that shape strategic decisions.

You’ll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately 2-3 days per week in the office with the remainder being from the comfort of your own home. However bear in mind during your probation and training, we may request more office presence to ensure you feel fully supported and equipped for success. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance Excellence:
  • Lead the preparation and submission of rent data for regulatory returns, ensuring every detail meets legislative and regulatory standards.
  • Generate insightful rent reports and analytical data that support key decision-making processes across the business.
  • Drive Data Integrity:
  • Oversee data preparation for annual rent reviews and other critical ad hoc analyses, ensuring every number is spot-on.
  • Maintain and optimise our Housing Management System and other rent-related software, keeping our data accurate, reliable, and ready for action.
  • Collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate data sets with precision, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
  • Transform Data into Action:
  • Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for various regulatory submissions, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.
  • Use cutting-edge data analysis tools to scrutinise information, ensuring everything reconciles perfectly with our systems.
  • Develop and refine data analysis tools that meet our evolving business needs and objectives.
  • Champion Data Quality:
  • Validate and cross-check datasets against primary systems (like Northgate), swiftly identifying and correcting any anomalies to keep our data pristine.
  • Spot trends and insights that will help guide strategic decisions and enhance our business processes.
  • Innovate and Improve:
  • Communicate findings clearly and act swiftly to resolve any data issues, ensuring smooth and error-free operations.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritise initiatives, explore new opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across our processes.
  • Design and implement robust controls that minimise errors and keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Be the Go-To Expert:
  • Provide critical analysis to ensure accurate charges are applied to tenant accounts, addressing any issues at the source.
  • Masterfully navigate and interrogate Northgate, aligning reports with regulatory requirements and business needs.
