Job Title: Repair Center Manager

Position Summary:
As a Repair Center Manager, you will work in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Design/Quality/Test Engineering, and New Product Introduction to enable high-quality, cost-efficient repair and refurbishment of depot serviced equipment. The desired candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring their team produces a high-quality output while meeting production demand each day. They will act as the primary point of contact for all repair technician escalations and work to remove roadblocks during the repair process. They will foster a team first environment and help champion employee growth and development. They will seek out and execute continuous improvement related activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Mobilize the repair team to meet the daily production schedule
  • Ensure team is repairing to acceptable industry standards
  • Seek opportunities to improve operating metrics specifically related to quality, service level agreement, and cost
  • Manage and drive continuous improvement related activities including 5S and Lean initiatives
  • Provide a hands-on leadership presence with a strong emphasis on team building and employee growth and development
  • Ensure team needs are quickly and efficiently escalated to leadership
  • Train and develop repair technicians as required to improve operating metrics
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 – 10 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment, managing team members.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial awareness/experience and technical IT knowledge
  • Ability to think conceptually and to design practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Team player – ability to lead solution design teams and work with many parts of the NCR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a group, team, or project leader
  • Experience with project management (PMP/CAPM Certification a plus)
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, Six Sigma (Yellow/Green/Black Belt Certification a plus)
